About WesternWedge
The atelier and creative umbrella for Barbara Foster and Jack Stone.
Outfitted with an etching press, a lithography press, and a brand new chop (see: right sidebar), Barbara Foster and Jack Stone launched the print atelier, WesternWedge, in 1980. For the first six years, the press was situated in a blonde-brick, one-story, commercial building that was originally a diaper service (c. 1950). In the '80s, the wedge-shaped building (hence the name) was still festooned atop with a large, wordless, neon sign of a flying stork carrying a baby slung from its beak.
